Solid State Chemistry

Our mission is to obtain a fundamental understanding of the processes that occur during formation and growth of crystals and to apply this understanding to the prediction and control of crystal morphology and perfection.

IMM

The department of Solid State Chemistry is part of the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM). The IMM is an interdisciplinary research institute in chemistry and physics at Radboud University. IMM’s mission is to perform fundamental research to understand, design and control the functioning of molecules and materials. The department of Solid State Chemistry participates in the following IMM research themes:

  • Structure and Dynamics of Molecules Theme-1
  • Chemistry of Complex Systems  Theme-2
  • Spectroscopy of Quantum Materials Theme-3
